Boston papers are holding for runnings and write-thrus. Same with NY papers that are staffing the series.

At what point do the non-Massachusetts papers say ''fuck it" and start press runs without tonight's gamers/siders/columns, saving the words for the website(s)?

 

Of course, the Red Sox are going to drag out this inning as long as fucking possible.

Holy crap, at least the game ended before closing time. What's with the "die-hard" Red Sox fans bailing before the final out?
Seeing the side-armer on the mound for the Sox made me wonder, are there any sidearm pitchers in the Hall of Fame?

 

Eck, if he counts. Walter Johnson, by many accounts, often threw at an an angle parallel to the ground, although he didn't bend at the waist. ... Carl Mays should be in; he was a true sidearmer.
