Don't worry about it, pal. It happens. That's how you learn.

Red Sox just won the ALCS.

Cleveland had home field and the series lead. All they had to do was win and they were going to the Series.

Does anyone think Schilling will come up short in a big game, a must-win for the Sox on Saturday? Me neither. And with the series tied at three for Game Seven in Fenway...well, Jake Westbrook will have to pitch the game of his life to win and I don't think he has it in him.

You're forgetting about Matsuzaka, HB. He'll have to pitch the game of his life (in this country), too. I don't think he can do it.

Game 7s are a total crapshoot, especially those pitched by 3s. Even if they pitch decently, the hooks will be quick on both Matsuzaka and Westbrook. Sunday would also be Beckett and Sabathia's day to throw on the side so they will be available for a couple innings if needed. I'd take my chances on Matsuzaka than Westbrook, though I'd be surprised if either get through 6.

The talk about the Game 7 pitchers is amusing when the best pitcher in the American League this year is pitching for Cleveland in Game 6 against a washed-up stiff.

All hands should be on deck, no?

I like Beckett coming out of the bullpen for an inning or two. Wakefield for an inning, if the knuckler's working. Those guys acting as set up men for Papelbon? I'll take my chances with the Sox.

The youngster that pitched against him also looked like a stiff.

That's funny. Coulda sworn I saw the best pitcher in the American League this year pitching with red socks on tonight. ;)

I'm not convinced Schilling is anywhere near a money pitcher Saturday. I, too, think he's done
Game 6 is going to be more a matter of offense. If the Sox get to Fausto early, we have a Game 7 and it's up to the Red Sox to lose it.
If not, Schilling doesn't hold up past 5 and the series is over.
