When I heard about Millar throwing out the first pitch, I immediately wondered how Andy McPhail and his teammates in Baltimore felt.

Same lineups as last night except Gutierrez is in RF instead of Nixon. I personally would have started Nixon just because he has been there before and Gutierrez hasn't hit for shit throughout the postseason.

Maybe Gutierrez will come up with a big hit or something.

Other than the O's being a divisional foe, I don't think this is cause for contempt. I remember the Dodgers (for Lowe) and Angels (for Cabrera) having to accommodate the Red Sox celebrating their Series-winning players in various situations. (In fact, the Giants had to do it this year when Dave Roberts traveled to Boston for the first time since The Steal.)

I don't think anybody would hold it against Millar or the other '04 Sox players. Everyone understands why.

If I were McPhail, I'd be cool with him throwing out the first pitch. But the promo for Fox seems like a little much for the Orioles to allow.

Buck, he was openly cheering for the Sox in the promo before Game 5.

At the least, it's silly. At worst, it's bordering on classless when you're playing for another club and acting like a yahoo cheering for the Sox.

Having Millar throw out the first pitch is lame.

Before the game starts, I'd like to say that pizza delivery is perhaps God's greatest invention. And I might even say it again when my food gets here.

    Thanks for listening.

And it's ok if you don't tip the pizza delivery guy. [/roy williams]
