"We should tell him the truth."

    That voice sounded very familiar.

Maybe there is a longer spot coming?

It's gotta be someone else. I kind of doubt they would "waste" a reveal like that in a trailer.

    Sure, it could be misdirection.

It was definitely that actor, and they absolutely would plant something like that in a trailer.

Oh, it was definitely the actor. The only question is if they were planted in there as a fake out or not.

If you think about how much the edited out of the final No Way Home trailer to preserve plot twists … we have no idea if we’re actually seeing the final versions of those scenes.

Perhaps we saw a hint of the MCU’s version of Marvel Comics’ Illuminati — Professor X, Mr. Fantastic, an alternative version of Tony Stark (you could argue that Dr. Strange was being escorted by a version of the Iron Legion), and perhaps others.

There is other evidence of your theory in the trailer and in a poster for the movie.

There was a dropped line in that movie as well about the Quantum Realm "changing" people (or something; it's been a while since I've seen it) that I'm surprised people haven't picked up on. I remember it struck me as a potential hint toward the origin of mutants in the MCU.

There are many hints to different versions of the origin of mutants in the MCU. If they aren't born that way, however, they aren't mutants.
