Bernthal's performance as Frank Castle alone made it better than that label. That scene you posted was actually from Daredevil Season 2, which brought the character into the Netflix shows. Earlier that very season, they had this moment with the two characters. I posted this on the TV thread, but I'll put it here as well. There was a lot more to it than the violence.

That season of Daredevil was the best part of all of Marvel's Netflix shows combined. The first and third seasons were dominated by Fisk, who is an amazing villain, but there is just enough of him in the second season to make that work, too.

I hope the shows eventually find their way to Disney+ for selfish reasons. I don't have Hulu and they are all being pulled from Netflix Monday. I'm trying to fit in another watch of that season before then.

Interesting! I figured they would end up on Disney Ploos at some point - didn't think it would be this quick. Then again, Daredevil is already part of the MCU. That and Jessica Jones (S1) stand up with the better Disney Marvel shows, surpassing them at points, although obviously the tone is way darker. I wouldn't mind either one of them showing up some more.

 

I clicked on the thread to post this very Tweet. I binged some of my favorite episodes the last week or so thinking these might end up Hulu. Still worth it, but glad to see they will be on Disney+.

I read something about them adding an adult lock for the site as they add these, which is a good idea. Jessica Jones is the most graphic of them, but none of the Netflix shows are appropriate for young children.

 

I'm looking forward to the faux Twitter outrage from parents whose kids happen upon a Punisher or Jessica Jones episode. LOL

 

I'm sure you are right that it will happen, but there are parental controls on Disney+. Parents can set it up so a pin is required to access a specific profile. That way they can limit their children to a kids profile.

New Moon Knight trailer, complete with a couple of glimpses of Konshu, the Egyptian god of the Moon.

 

Looks like Disney was busy with Marvel stuff today. They also released the first full trailer for Ms. Marvel. I'm not optimistic about this one. I hope they didn't screw up a great character.
