I'm sure there are some elements of it that fit in with the more cosmic aspects of the larger story and perhaps the ongoing breaking of reality, but nothing that was clear on first viewing.

I know the Eternals hasn't gotten a lot of love here or in general but you can look at a lot of that movie and see where it creates several roads. At least in my mind. My first thought with this was, not much at all in that aspect. It was just like a fun reason to have more Thor. And I suppose to reintroduce Jane.

I think the problem with this is we already saw this movie in Ragnarnok. Sort of the same thing with Multiverse of Madness.

I sort of want the kids mixed in more. Give everyone their big movie and then keep working their characters into other things. Sort of like Civil War and Endgame did. We didn’t need a 90% Thor movie.

I really would love a Love movie. If there was another Thor movie, add Love. Make movies like team ups.

I was avoiding that aspect of the overall story because it's a bit too soon for spoilers.

That new character might be a bigger deal than most realize, beyond the connection to Thor. I've seen a couple of possibilities from the comics suggested. I think the more interesting one is related to a character introduced in the Secret Wars storyline, the one from 2015, not the original. Given that many already think the MCU is headed for its own version of Secret Wars, that would make the most sense.

Just finished Ms. Marvel. It was a solid finish to a series that closed a heck of a lot better than it began.

There is one twist right before the credits. I missed it at first. I had to go back and listen more carefully. There is also a post-credits scene that seems to come out of nowhere but makes a bit more sense if you know a particular bit of Marvel Comics history. It also possibly ties to something we've already seen in the MCU.

    That word is never used.

The word was only leaked to Iman and Lintz. It means exactly what you think it means. Yes, this is the start of something big. Iman lost her mind when she saw the word in a script and all-capped Feige an email confirming it.

He’s kept that word in his back pocket long enough.

I caught it right away. Only meant one thing right? I don't know the comics well enough, or at all, for your latter point. So I'm intrigued what that was all about.

All I’m going to say is finish Ms. Marvel before doing too much poking around on the internet today.

My wife loved Ms. Marvel from beginning to end. Judging from other non-Marvel dude responses on the Internet, that seems to be the consensus, and it wouldn't surprise me if she brings a whole lot of new fans into that universe. (I personally thought it was more of a B+, A-. Really liked the lead, but in contrast to most of their shows, this one felt rushed - probably hedging with the six episodes, in case it was bad, but it turned out to be really good, and they could have used some more time to develop the baddies and her two friends.)

I caught the word used the first time, but there was another part to the hint that I caught on a second viewing. It's really quick, but distinctive.

Scout has the right idea. I wouldn't poke around the internet much without finishing the series or you will bump into spoilers, or at least theories about the bit switch in the post-credits scene. If I'm right, it goes back to the history of characters named Marvel in the books. Going back to the scene where the bangle is found is also helpful.

I did not catch what the last part of what you meant right away either but very obvious once you know it is there.

That stuff is why we love MCU. I love how the interwebs and social media are all abuzz. It's what we talked about as lacking from Love and Thunder. So awesome.
