Looks like no doubleheaders on ESPN:

I thought TBS had regular-season games this year, but guess not until 2008 when it takes over the Sunday package.

Sanchez is really hurt? Elbow again or something different?

About the same for Bonderman. He's at 2.25 with four no-decisions. In his last two games, he's given up two runs in 16 innings.

Did anyone see Buster Olney's blog today? I can't link to it because of the Insider thing, but he got a guy from Elias to check on the correlation between game-time temperatures and runs scored. The results from the past five seasons ('02-'06) were pretty interesting:

    Temperature Games HR/g R/g
    Below 50 259 1.79 9.04
    50 to 59 867 1.81 8.92
    60 to 69 2,763 2.00 9.04
    70 to 79 4,929 2.17 9.45
    80 to 89 2,750 2.29 9.77
    90 and above 576 2.69 10.74

I always knew hotter weather made for better offense, but I never realized how big the impact really was.

Actually I have no idea. I couldn't find anything on Sanchez when you asked about him the other day. I think he is still in extended spring training.

Anybody watching this Orioles-Rays game? Why the hell did they cut that throw to the plate? Millar would have been out by a mile.

On a cold Seattle night, Jeff Weaver may have screwed up this stat yesterday. When he drops his arm a few inches and that slider flattens out...pow yow!

All I can say is Bob Wickman might be fat and goofy looking and get a strikeout once every millennium, but he gets the job done.

Phils move Myers to the pen:

I know the bullpen's a disaster in Philly, and yeah, Myers hasn't been great so far this year, but this reeks of a complete panic move my Manuel. If I'm the Phils, I'd rather my most established starter working seven innings every five days than an inning every couple games.

You know, it's really tough to ignore you when you continue to come into these discussions yelling and screaming about how right and great you are yet you're armed with nothing more than a turkey baster.

A-Rod is a career .306 hitter. So, you know, bragging that he's hitting .280 in the postseason doesn't really help your case,

Over the last two years, A-Rod is 3-for-29 (.103) with no RBI and 11 Ks in the postseason. And dating back to Game Four of the 2004 ALCS, A-Rod is 5-for-46 (.109) with two RBI and 15 Ks in his last 12 playoff games. Even during his best series, the 2000 ALCS, he struck out eight times in 22 at-bats and was most famous for turning to jelly when Clemens threw at him.

But you're right. Anyone saying A-Rod chokes in the postseason is just passing swill.

Cue your usual response of fuck yous and suck my dicks and eat shits.
