    Fuck you Zambrano.

    You overrated, crazy-assed bastard.

    GET SOMEONE OUT.

There are ways to throw strikes without throwing it down the middle. They’re called corners. Pitchers have survived in the big leagues for decades by controlling speeds and working the corners, and you are wasting a fabulous arm by either throwing it down the middle or a foot out of the zone.

Then, by the same logic, A-Rod has lowered his play in the postseason. Right?

Zambrano's ERA (9.52) is the highest of the Cubs' starters. Who'd a thunk it?

Numbers this year aside, he's the best starter the Phillies have, and for the years ahead, only Hamels has a higher ceiling than Myers, not to mention the fact that Myers has never worked out of the bullpen before. Who knows how much time it's going to take for him to get ready, how his arm is going to feel working three times a week, etc.

    Like candy from a baby.

I can't believe an adult actually defended A-Rod's deflated postseason numbers by saying other players who have better postseason #s elevate their play.

My God. I wish I could have taken a logic class in college with you. Would have been the most entertaining thing ever.

Wow, is this desperation or what. Does Manuel survive April? What a horseshit manager.

    Another opposite-field HR for Hamilton.

My estimation, based on what I figure are MLB posteason OPS vs. regular-season, ARod has played about the same... perhaps a hair less... then he has in the regular season.

That kid's gonna hit 40 homers if he plays every day. Especially in that ballpark.

Sorry if I don't feel I need to convince you that ARod is the best player in the land and that I have no problem with his October performances.

Personally, I'd like to see a Yankees pitcher bother to show up in the postseason. You have fun with your Yankees-hating ways and I'll continue to watch them bludgeon Indians pitching.
