    Nice trade, Jim Hendry.

It’s tough to blame him for that, but you know what, I’ll do it. I’ll be that guy. You’ll forgive me for not ever giving him the benefit of the doubt, won’t you?

If you don't have a problem with A-Rod in October, then you're not a Yankees fan.

The struggles of Yankees pitchers in October have NOTHING to do with A-Rod failing to show up.

And, again, for the 101,294th time: I don't hate the Yankees. Don't confuse not buying the Jeter bullshit and recognizing A-Rod as a postseason flop for hating the Yankees. You've been around here long enough to know I can't stand the team across town.

That's because you are a fucking baseball-writer simpleton.

I invited you into the discussion, and you chose to be intellectually dishonest.

    Shoulda figured.

So, because I don't have a problem with ARod in the postseason I am not a Yankees fan? Thanks for telling me how to quantify my fandom.
I realize the the struggles of the Yankees pitchers in October have NOTHING to do with ARod struggling lately in the postseason, but as a Yankees fan (though apparently only in my mind) I'd rather the pitchers show up. Whatever happened to pitching and defense wins championships?

    So funny.

If you knew half of what you think you know, you'd still know almost nothing.

Pube's Simple World: If you don't agree with me, you are a simpleton.

Alas, the rest of the world knows who the real simpleton is.

    Bye bye little man.

I'm not trying to quantify your fandom. I just find it hard to believe you can have no problem with ARod flopping year after year after year.

But we can disagree in a civil manner, unlike the Rube.

If the Devil Rays had fans, how much would they hate Josh Hamilton?

It's a good thing Steve Phillips isn't a GM anymore. He would forego Hamilton and the opportunity to win games because he doesn't think it'd be the right thing to do to other players who have toiled in the minors. He and Dusty Baker on Baseball Tonight is a regular Algonquin Roundtable, lemme tell ya.

It's not that I don't have a problem with ARod, I just think the bigger concern is pitching. Even if ARod hits .900 and belts nine homers in a 5-game playoff series, the Yankees won't win if the pitchers pitch like they have the last couple of years.

Ball falls between Pirates OFs, and it is ruled an error.

I have never seen that before.

Hey Zeke, who comes to earth first tonight - Silva or Hernandez?
