Julian must have found a new place to hide the KY.

No pitchers duel in Milwaukee, where the Brewers tagged Zach Duke for seven runs on 11 hits in four innings. Oh, those Pirates.

It is mostly just a baseball thread, with the occasional fantasy baseball threadjacks that some board members despise (hi Spnited!). Threads all over this board are full of inside references like the one above. Somehow, I think you will manage to get over it.

And we all know the definitive way to measure a player's performance --be it regular season or postseason -- is to compare his OPS.
    What about his VORP?

Use whatever numbers you want, Cowshit, A-Rod has grossly under performed in the playoffs with the Yankees.
And, unlike my pal BYH, I am not an A-Rod basher.

Note to Indians foes: just walk Hafner and Martinez. Get Blake to the plate, no matter if its bases loaded and no one out. He'll get out without bringing in a run. Just like the rest of the bottom of the lineup.

Good job by Bruney to escape the bases-loaded no out jam.

And now for all our Clevelanders:

4th inning: Bases loaded, one out, Blake fouls out, Peraltz strikes out
6th inning: bases loaded NO OUTS... Blake lines out, Peraltz pops out, Rouse pops out.

    Nice clutch hitting

And Giambi gives the Yankees the lead.

    No accusation.

    You are dishonest.

    Or fucking stupid.

Every player in the majors gets about two dozen regular-season games against No. 5 starters, pitchers that don't SNIFF postseason.

Don't give me this underperforming horseshit.

Just admit you were ignoring this fact to make sure you weren't within 10 miles of being on my side of the discussion, and I will move on.

Oh. And I always bring da facts.

    Ahhhh......."with the Yankees."

The qualifier is tossed into the ring.

    Whatever that means.

Answer why you would ignore such a fundamental fact from such a discussion.

    I KNOW you ain't stupid.
