    Wow.

An umpiring call as bad as the Nats' play as Zimmerman is called out at first, when no Marlin ever touched the bag with the ball.

    Bullshit.

The Cuban thing couldn't be more overrated.

Cubans, whitebreads, blacks... no one shows up at the games.

    Lowell was DONE.

Saw it with my own two eyes.

Only ballpark that could have transmogrified his 340-foot fly balls to left center into productivity was the place he went.

Niether the umpiring nor Nats play can be as bad as the pitching AJ Burnett is throwing out there today.

In fact, it's so bad, as I was typing this, he got the hook.

  4. If you are down in South Florida - check it out with the manager of the Clevelander. He should be able to confirm it for you. I have a buddy who was a bartender down there working the outside bar closest to the street and he saw the whole thing.

Tigers break it open in the third inning, tagging Burnett for six runs. In all, eight runs and 12 men to the plate. Granderson with the grand slam.

Burnett is the worst signing in Jays franchise history.

As I was typing, Thome homered in the Sox/Indians game, 3-0 Chicago.

    I'm not denying it happening.

    Let's be clear about that.

Granderson could have a huge year.

He needs to Zeke. Well, he just needs to be more patient leading off. That's a place where the Tigers struggled.

It's very early in the season, but they seem to be showing a little more patience at the plate.

I see he stole a base today, as well.

Is Leyland going to let him run?

  12. Was Lowell standing on the roof in Kansas shouting, "I am a golden god!"?
