At least he probably didn't pitch through it without telling anyone, like Liriano did. But it does, yes, sound very familiar. Not sure you can throw sliders like those two without wrecking your arm.

I really enjoy Tim Kurkjian's quirky stats feature every week. I think of Buckweaver every time; true baseball geeks who get my utmost respect.

Five walks for Thome! That does me NO GOOD, fuckers.

Let the Yankees-Red Sox overload begin. ESPN carrying two of the three games, and they'd do Saturday's too if they could.

Fuck the Indians, by the way.

    It's Brook Jacoby's fault.

Why can't SportsCenter show the winning and losing pitchers in its graphic? How hard can this be to do?

The Yankees-Red Sox game Saturday is the national broadcast on Fox. Also, for some reason ESPN decided to pick up the Yankees-Devil Rays game Monday.
Yes! Four games in four days that I get to watch, plus the first three are in HD.

Yes, because they're so hard to find on the tube.

I count at least six national ESPN broadcasts the Red Sox and Yankees have received since April 2. Maybe we can get some of Ken Burns' talking heads from Harvard to stop by the booth for tomorrow's and Sunday's games. They've never gotten to talk about Red Sox-Yankees.

Oh, LJB, don't get me wrong, I could give a flying fuck whether you or anyone else wants to watch the Yankees, I am just happy that I get to watch the Yankees the next four days.

Hell, I wish the Yankees were on ESPN every game, but I do understand the want for other teams to be shown and that is why I am annoyed that ESPN is apparently no longer doing Wednesday night doubleheaders.

ESPN shows games that don't involve the Yankees and/or Red Sox?

    When did this start?

Hell, I'll watch it too. It's not hard to understand why it's on. But I don't understand why I need to be exposed to the D-Rays and Yankees on Opening Day.

Make that at least two people annoyed about doing away with Wednesday night doubleheaders, although Berman really infected the late game over the years.
