Hey Hank, I finally found something on Humberto Sanchez. He's done for the year:

I still like the Sheffield trade, though, because there was nowhere to play Sheffield this season.

How about Alex Cora today? Maybe they should consider playing him over Pedroia...

I was surprised the Yankees were on Opening Day and I am even more surprised ESPN is showing the two teams again Monday. Why not show a random Twins-Indians game that day or something like it?

Next season I'm just getting Extra Innings and not dealing with this bullshit.

I'd like to be able to watch the Rockies ... just to be able to say that I did.

Has Ken Griffey Jr. played in Seattle since he left? I am going to Seattle for a couple of days in June and am trying to decide if I want to be there when the Mariners are playing the Reds or the Blue Jays. If Griffey hasn't been back to Seattle yet, then I will definitely hit the Reds series.

My fantasy baseball MVP so far this season. If he does anything like that against the Red Sox this weekend, imagine the hype.

That's what I thought. Hmmm, definitely need to go to Seattle for that one. With the way the Mariners have been drawing I will have no problems getting tickets.

So close to Pettitte vs. Schilling. God I hope the Yankees fuck up that piece of shit Schilling.

Still mad about the bloody sock, I presume.

  10. Red Sox Rule! Yankee fans have no teeth and smell funny!

You're right that they smell, Chris, but I still fear that Pettitte will stick the bats up Bosox's asses tonight.

After I had posted the query, I found him on the Yankees roster and it said disabled list. Had no idea what the injury was tho.

Although I'm not terribly surprised. At the trading deadline last year, the Tigers sat him down, instead of trying to showcase him, and he missed 2-3 weeks.

But yea, it still wasn't a bad deal for either team. Yankees needed pitching and the Tigers needed a big bat. Sheffield sucks now, but he will come around and even if he doesn't the Tigers do have a few arms in the minors. Hard to keep them in AA every year.
