Tim Hudson was dealing until C. Ruiz took him deep. Pretty good pitching matchup so far in Philly.

  2. Are you in the habit of checking out pitchers from behind?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Simon, now that we can't change names the best bet is probably a week-long sabbatical from the board.

Over/under on Beckett is 17.5 wins. So if he wins 18, I win. And if he wins 17, you win. agreed?

Of course he just walked David DeJesus leading off the season. Doh!!!

Cole Hamels has shut out the Braves through six.

  5. Pitchers duel 1-0 with Hudson throwing a one-hitter. Too bad that one hit was a HR

  6. So far so good for Ramon Ortiz.

A man once asked Cole Hamels if his real name was Charles.

Cole stared at the man until he exploded.

I should have mentioned that, too.

Of course, Hudson did not expect the Spanish Inquisition.

I'd tab Hudson for a nice comeback season.

You're on... plus the one buys a drink for the other.

  12. BYH - if he buys the drink - watch out for a ruffie.
