BYH is already obviously on hallucinogens with the Beckett prediction.

I am so happy to be so wrong about Lilly ... so far.

He wasn't very good last year and he won 16 games. He could certainly be two wins better.

    Final line on Hamels: 7 IP, 0R. 8K, 4H.

    Very nice.

That's exactly my point. Even if Beckett puts together an ERA in the high 4s, the Sox have a better offense and their closer is back. He can definitely win two more games. And I think he's much improved after last year.

Todd Coffey should wear a sports bra. Talk about manboobs.

Forgot about Hamels - surprised no one grabbed him in our league.

And the Phillies fail to tack on a few potential runs going into the 9th because of aggressive running: Victorino thrown out stealing third, and Howard thrown out on the plate on Utley's gapper to right. Wonder what Davey Lopes will have to say about that.

The errors, which weren't scored errors, (one in foul territory and Tejada misplaying that ball at short) didn't help.

Which, in true loser style, come back to haunt them when McCann belts a two-run homer. But hey, at least the Phillies will get closer to 10,000 losses.

Jaret Wright's got guts, but that's all he's got left.

I give him credit for coming back after all the surgeries and for being a much nicer dude now than he was 10 years ago, but he's about at the end of the rope.

I wouldn't call what the Phillies did aggressive. Howard at the plate? Maybe. Trying to steal third there was just plain stupid.
