I feel bad for Wright. Even though he didn't pitch particularly well for the Yankees last year, he also didn't pull a Pavano and pretend to be injured every two weeks.
That said, he should just retire.

Flash Gordon will break your heart. He reminds me of Yosemite Sam when he storms around mound after giving up HR with his cap pulled way down on his head.

Booted balls, hit batsmen, crappy situational hitting...the Pirates are back.

  4. You have to like what Ramon is doing out there on the mound. If he can win 10 games, I will be thrilled.

I think Rondell is going to have a great season.

That's what I mean. He was never right with the Yankees, and a lot of people thought his career was done when he got hurt early in '05, but he came back at the end of the year and always took the ball last year and never complained. Meanwhile, Carl was out due to a bruised labia.

And Jose Bautista drives in a pair...4-3 Bucs.

But they are winning, and with two on and two out in the fifth, they have chased Williams, who didn't look great.

Reyes and Beltran with bombs, suddenly Mets up 5-0.

If he stays healthy, can we just go ahead and pencil McCann into the all-star lineup for the next decade? He's just 23. Everyone talks about Mauer — and rightfully so — but McCann is also amazing.

You sure you aren't talking about the 'Stros? Two errors on one play result in more Bucs runs.
