How's that Cubs bullpen working out for you, Lou?

 

I just think if a pitcher is wild you might as well make him throw a strike. Why not see if he can throw a strike and then be aggressive in a 1-0 or 2-0 or 2-1 count?

 

Lou Piniella's postgame presser should be fun.

Will Ohman walks Adam Dunn but ball four gets by Barrett, go-ahead run scores from third in the process and Dunn winds up at second base without Barrett ever making a throw.

All of this comes a half inning after Alfonso Soriano got picked off of first and Ryan Theriot got thrown out at third trying to advance on a ground ball to the shortstop.

 

A wild starter may be a stretch. He'd walked one guy. If he had walked two or three in a row, I would agree.

The other argument would be that he just walked a guy, so he might be throwing something down the middle of the plate to get ahead.

Swing the damn bat.

 

OK, but he has been behind hitters so far. Maybe the real problem is when Emil Brown is your cleanup hitter.
