Also, two batters before A-Rod "flopped" Captain Perfection hit a 40-foot dribller with men on first and second, The idiot Rays reliever tried to make a play at third and threw wide of the base to load the bases. So the great Captain failed as well. Then Abreu hit a comebacker that resulted in a force at the plate before
    A-ROD FLOPPED!

Gold Glove my ass. Oh well at least he didn't win MVP as well.

And I just wait until October to say A-Rod sucks.

I'm sure Ryan Howard is happy he isn't playing for the Yankees. So far this season, 2-11, .182 slugging perc. , no homers no rbi.
Just imagine if A-Rod started the season like this.

P.S. I'm not trying knocking Howard. The guy is a beat.

The Phillies can suck half of my left nut. I hate them every year. But I love them since I am a Philadelphia sports fan.

Because it's A-Rod. And they're New Yorkers. And he doesn't have the rings, nevermind that he would have won one in his first season with the Yankees had Rivera closed out the ninth in Game 4 of the ALCS against the Red Sox, leading to a World Series sweep of the Cardinals. But that's beside the point.

How dare you place the blame on a real Yankee instead of A-Rod! Don't you know that Rivera is the greatest post-season closer of all time!

    Exactly.
With one out and men on first and second, Jeter dribbles the ball forward. Had the pitcher made the proper throw, which was to first, he gets Jeter. Abreu was up next and he just popped out.

As such, had the D-Rays pitcher not made the error, A-Rod would never have had the chance. The A-Rod obsession is just crazy.

Irresponsible, lazy, agenda-driven, yellow sportswriting is what it is.

Season isn't a week old and the cheating has seemingly begun. MLB is investigating Angels closer Francisco Rodriguez. What's up with that?

Howard will be OK. Phans have Burrell to boo. He could have a three-homer, 9-RBI day and still catch all kinds of shit if he struck out in his last AB.
