For sure. He's much better-suited to be a DH.

I hope the NY writers can make clear to everyone else that it was A-Rod's fault when The Captain just grounded out with two on in scoring position and his team trailing to end the inning and kill the rally.

I guess the forecast is for the snow to keep coming down hard. He came down hard before the game and during the delays, but stopped.

Man, Indians lose Victor Martinez to a strained quad, and it ends up not even being an official game.

Also, I thought they changed the rules that if a game got called in the middle of the contest, it didn't have to be started from the beginning again. I know that's how it's always been, I just thought for some reason I had read it was changed this year. I know I'm probably wrong, but just asking.

Bizarre call by HP ump in Miami, calling Matt Treanor for leaning into a HBP, negating it.

I have seen hundreds worse than that, including by the armor boys, Biggio and Bonds.

This HP ump is a hot-head newbie.. and he will be involved in a huge flare-up at some point this season.

Reminds me of Steve Javie on the hardwood 15 years ago or so.

    Actually, he's perfect through five.

Either way, he won't finish it (/bitterpartyofone).

    Bye bye perfecto.

With one swing the perfect game, the no-hitter and shutout - GONE.

And Corey Hart ruins it with a homer.

Edit: Damn, SoSueMe beat me to it.

That's just because there's a lefty on the mound. Leyland had said he might do this at times this year since Granderson didn't hit lefties as well last year.
