I can't believe they were doing Mets-Phils nationally with no back-up game.

Another HR for Hamilton, as a PH.

Narron has got a fucking screw loose sitting him.

May have cost him the game tonight.

Any baseball history buffs know if giving up a grand slam in three straight games is a record? Because the Royals, surprise, surprise, have managed to pull that off.

Giving up a grand slam is a fine art of suckitude. I think a team must actually try to give up three straight. 105 losses, here we come.

That sound you just heard? Armchair_QB screaming about how he fucking hates this team.

Alfonso Soriano headed for an MRI on the hammy he pulled tonight. Maybe he can face Prior in a simulated game.

Funniest thing? Soriano was replaced by.............the injury-prone Cliff Floyd.

    Rejoice, Cubs Nation!!!!

That's like a NFL team replacing Boomer Esiason with Neil O'Donnell...

Not even the most overrated player on his own team, or in his own infield. Jeter is damn good.

I don't think anyone is saying he's not good. I think BYH, spnited and yours truly are saying he's not Jesus-in-spikes, as Yankees fans and Yankees Media might have you believe.

True story: I was at the Yankees 11-1 curbstomping of the Red Sox in September 2004. Jeter caught a pop up in short left field for the second out in the seventh inning and two Yankee fans loudly start lecturing the group I was with about Jeter. "That's why he's the best. He wants it more than anyone else."

It was also his play all the way, and any other shortstop makes that catch.
