    Because it's the sporting thing to do? I don't know. If all he's going to do is hit a homer when you're up 7-0, why wouldn't you pitch to him?

    Talking of MVP candidates, Vlad Guerrero should be right up there.

    .335 avg, 1.045 OPS, 10 HR, 15 2B, 40 RBI and remarkably a 30/17 BB/K ratio.
