Total bases includes SB's I believe.

    As far as OPS, Hunter's is .924, Morneau's .954

Santana cruising but has allowed two solo home runs, bringing his season total to twelve.

    Which is odd, I think...

And Torii just got a little bush, stealing third up four in the ninth.

    Scored on an overthrow, though.

Trot Nixon returns to Fenway tonight.

Expect a standing ovation and deservidly so. He defined Boston baseball on the field and was an absolute class act off of it.

Today was the first chance I've had to see the Brewers since their slide began. Ugh.

They look like '02 vintage Brewers. Can't swing at hittable balls early in the count and "compensate" by swinging at horseshit later in at-bats. It killed them today with runners in scoring position.

It was galling considering that Brewers' starter Chris Capuano made one "mistake" (Andruw Jones hit a solo shot on a high inside pitch) and Prince Fielder fucked up cutting off a throw from right that could have nailed a Braves runner at the plate.

Thank God the NL Central sucks, though after seeing Monday's game, I'm not even so sure the suckitude of the division can salvage the Brewers.

Surprise: The Yankees are losing. I'm about to just start rooting for their AAA team.

Added to that, the Yankees are being shut out by a pitcher who gave up a total of 14 runs in his previous three starts.

No such thing as bush up four at any time.

These are MAJOR LEAGUERS... get him out if you don't want him to steal.
