1971 for USC losing only 2 games, both to UCLA, and not getting into the NCAAs.

200 hours of community service, apiece, seems about right.

How about they write letters of apology to the kid, they are suspended from whatever the next band event is and just to make sure the politically correct whiny assholes get their pound of flesh, they do those two hours of that nonsensical "sensitivity training"

    That would be appropriate.

Anything more than that is silly.

I disagree. The kids received their scholarships to be representatives of the school at sporting events. They tarnished their school's reputation with a racist chant, one that plays into what is probably already a prevalent stereotype of southern schools.

They were not kicked out of the school. They were told that the school will no longer pay the students to represent them, and that sounds pretty fair.

    And we're off.

The first weekend is fun because there are games on from morning until after I've gone to bed.

But this weekend is fun, starting now, because you've got true heavyweights playing one another, just two games from Valhalla.

What if they had chanted, "Go back to Africa!" to an African-American player?

Would any objectors just be whiny, politically correct assholes?

Wisconsin has the early lead, but it won't last. They're settling for WAY too many long shots.

After defending Alabama football, I realize I'm being a complete hypocrite. But my God the Badgers are a chore to watch.

    And....Wisconsin can't hit a shot now, Syracuse can't miss.

Every time I write Wisconsin off as dead, they hit a few 3s and make it interesting. Every time I think it's interesting, Syracuse goes on a run and I think Wisconsin's dead again...
