It's not just CBS, either. TBS has been doing the same thing tonight.

  2. The first part of your question answers the second.

  3. Ryan said after the game he wanted to preserve the timeout in case a player got trapped. Whether that was more important than getting Berggren into the game, I suppose, could be debated.

I didn't realize Pitino is unbeaten in regional semifinals.

  5. Someone else already pointed it out, but it bears repeating: Kenny Smith made an excellent observation afterward, that UW's good looks all night came as the result of very good passing while running offense, and many times that took a good chunk of time. When UW brought up the ball for that last possession, there were what, 15 seconds left? You give UW a 15-second shot clock all night against that Syracuse zone and a lot more possessions would have ended the same way the last one did.

Syracuse did a good job extending it out too, thus forcing the Badgers out of their perimeter hand-off rhythm.

It doesn't help that UW's whole offensive gameplan is to take the air out of the ball and make the game as boring as possible.

  8. Not true, but thanks for contributing anyway.

The production approach is the same across the entire tournament. It's not a "TBS" or "CBS" approach. It's an NCAA Tournament production approach.

When's the last time the Badgers scored 85 points against a legitimate opponent?

    In football or basketball?

As mentioned by someone with more power than me on another thread, you better not be who I think you might be.

Did you watch the game? Take the air out of the ball? Wisconsin made 14-of-27 three-pointers. It was 64-63, not 24-23.
