Kellogg and Nance? Bland and Blander.

And stop already with the "ha-ha, we jinxed him" when you talk about a guy being a great free throw shooter and then the dude misses one right after you mention it. No, numbnuts, you had NOTHING to do with him missing the free throw. Dipshit TV guys seem to do this all the time, as if they have anything to do with what happens in the game. I don't know why it pisses me off, but it does.

Anyway, if Kentucky doesn't win this whole thing, it's the biggest choke job in the history of the NCAA Tournament. Christ, the Wildcats look unbeatable. I think they could beat the shittiest team in the NBA in a seven-game series.

Let me get a clarification: You think they could win one out of seven, or you think they could win four out of seven?

Interesting to note as Kansas and North Carolina get ready to play Sunday, UNC alum Larry Brown is part of the KU traveling party and was celebrating in the Jayhawk locker room tonight.

I agree that Kentucky is the clear favorite at this point, but it's hardly a lock at this point. I'll be interested to see the regional final against Baylor. As underwhelming as the Bears looked at times this season, they've won three games in the tournament, and they have enough size, length, talent, etc., to make things difficult for the Wildcats. If Kentucky gets past that one, it'll face a big rival -- either Louisville or Florida -- in the Final Four. (I think the Gators have been a little more competitive each time they've played the Wildcats this year.) And I think Syracuse could give Kentucky all it wanted. (If Kendall Marshall were healthy, North Carolina could have, too, but the Tar Heels won their last game tonight.)

Syracuse without Melo wouldn't stand a chance against Kentucky. They'd be trying to match Anthony Davis and Terrence Jones with Baye Keita and Rakeem Christmas. Ohio State should have no problem in dusting the Orange.

He used to coach at Kansas and when Guthridge retired and the Heels passed on Brown to hire Doherty, it created a bit of a rift b/w Brown and the program.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion UNC loses Sunday. Stilman White stepped up today with six assists and no turnovers. The fact of the matter is everybody else turned the ball over and Harrison Barnes pretended he was Kobe Bryant and took awful shots. If the Heels make their jumpers, they can beat the Jayhawks -- with or without Marshall.

That being said, I expect Marshall will play.

With that lump of sodden, dead weight clapping his hands on the sidelines -- after he himself bailed on Kansas after lying his sorry, wrinkled ass about it?

    Can't wait to see that.

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say he lied, Ben?

Three years before he left Kansas for North Carolina he turned down UNC and then had a press conference/pep rally at the KU football stadium where he said ""I said this would be the last one (news conference) I have until they fire me or I retire. There's no more job things. I can't stand but one. This is enough."

After he left for UNC he denied saying anything like that until the tape was played for him.

Well, to be fair, the program was on its death throes. There were many people advocating UNC disband the basketball program altogether after 8-20. Roy took over and people forgot all about that.
