And after the regional? I hope they have the good sense to donate them to a community group, but there I go, using good sense and the NCAA in the same sentence ...

I liked it better when each location had its own floor. You could turn on a game and before you even realized what teams were playing you could recognize the location. "Oh, that's the Phoenix floor." Oh, this is one of the Greensboro games."

Don't know about the regional and subregional sites, but a lot of championship schools buy the Final Four floor and sell pieces.

Why do they have the BC logo on the court? This is miles away from the Boston College campus.

I imagine they keep the floor and use it the next time they host or for other college games. Most big arenas keep more than one floor in storage. Hell, Cowboys Stadium has two different football rugs.

Jesus, I get roped in every time.

Because each site has a "host" school. So whichever school is the host, their log is in the corner -- upper right as you watch the game.

All of the floors have the exact same design -- Boston's parquet notwithstanding. NCAA logo in the middle. City of the regional in the left baseline with host school logo. Name of the arena on the right baseline -- again, with the host school logo.

There were Arizona State logos in the West.

Two other NCAA logos, two red-white-and-blue ribbons. "Basketball" in the far sideline with a couple of logos. "The Road to the Final Four" on the near sideline.

If BC was in the field, would they have been allowed to be in that region? I know that schools cannot play NCAA Tournament games on their own campus, but I don't know about this.

They better donate a building also, to go with the floor.

CBS and the commonwealth of Kentucky is wetting itself over a potential Kentucky-Louisville semifinal. Too bad it wouldn't be the final. If it happens, it'll be the late game next Saturday.
