This might come down to the last shot. Great game in Boston.

I think Carolina matches up better with OSU. Either way, it should be a fun Final Four.

Too bad the refs had to mar it by making themselves the focus.

    Latest pet peeve:

The name on the back of the Ohio State kid reads "Smith Jr."

No, his last name is not Smith Jr., any more than Robert Griffin III's last name is Griffin III.

    STOP DOING THAT!!!!!

Noob aside, I believe the answer in this case is "yes," because this is a Sweet 16/Elite Eight site. Right? It's just the second and third rounds where a school can't play in its home arena/area.

Meanwhile, it's noteworthy how much of a stretch it is which school is the "host" in some of these cases. In the women's tourney, Northern Iowa is the host in Des Moines instead of Drake or Iowa State. And the host school for the Green Bay hockey regional is Michigan Tech.

Pitino comparing this FF to 1987, which he says he wanted the most to ease the pain of his wife/family after their son's death.

I don't know. For a guy like that to go back to the family well after everything that has transpired lately ... It takes balls for sure.

Rick Pitino was born without the shame gene. I remember when he came back from Final Four in '87 and at a rally held in Providence, thanked the crowd for their support and said that Providence was their home and they would be there
a long time. 3 days later he became head coach of The Knicks.

As a side note, he looks like he is using the same skin doctor that Michael Jackson used.
