I still have the t-shirt from that game. May have to break it out on Saturday. To hold, not wear, I was only 11 then.

I think we all tried at one time or another Moddy, but it was beyond hope. I'm reminded of the one character in "Cannery Row" who kept asking questions, not to get answers, but just because he liked the sounds of a conversation ... Oh hell, he's too good for Steinbeck, he's just an attention slut.

    Don't recall any either.

It's probably due to Gus Johnson not working the tournament.

I usually find it hard to believe that one guy can transform a team, especially an elite team, but the UNC team with Marshall in the first two rounds was a smooth running fast paced team that looked dominant yet under control. The UNC team this weekend could not even make a decent entry pass. What was very disappointing was failing to get the ball into Hensen and Zeller in the post with space and wondering what all the hype was about Harrison Barnes.

I'm just a guy on the West Coast but UNC looked better when that guy Watts was in rather than White at PG.

Tournament is dull is usually code for the best teams keep winning. Why is college basketball the only sport where a certain segment of the population seems to hate excellence?

It's college sports in general. Look at the outcry here every year when 11-1 West Bumblefuck Tech gets "screwed" out of a BCS game. College sports have clearly delineated haves and have-nots, whereas people at least feel like pro sports teams are playing on an equal field.

Baseball may be the one pro sport that resembles college sports, from a fan's standpoint, because of a lack of a salary cap. People root against the Yankees and Red Sox because they perceive an uneven playing field.

I can't speak for anybody else, but when I say the tournament has been dull, I mean because the games to me have been dull, in general.

If you like it, great... tomato/tomahto.... It doesn't always have to be an Texas Death Match style argument over it. Unless something happens this weekend, this tourney will be an absolute zero in my book.

I love college basketball, but in terms of games coming down to the end with some dramatics involved, this tournament has basically had none of that. I root for the best teams to make the final four and the two best teams to make the finals. In other words, I have no problem with chalk winning, but I like the games to be fun and dramatic on the way to getting there. If you think this tournament has been exciting, you're fooling yourself.

Doodah/whatwhat is trying to bring down Calipari with an open-records request. Pretty funny stuff. If he limited his posts to his quest in bringing down Kentucky, I'm all for it.

Zag, where were you when you watched NC State beat Houston? Where were you when you watched Villanova beat Georgetown? Where were you when George Mason beat UConn?

I am guessing most people here can answer those three questions.

Where were you when Arkansas beat Duke?
    Kentucky beat Syracuse?
    Michigan State beat Florida?

Cinderellas cannot happen every year, but when they do, it makes for the best tournaments, IMHO. Proof for me is remembering actually watching the game.

I'd love to know the twp media members who didn't vote for Anthony Davis as a first-team all-american.
