I have never seen posts as ignorant about football as the McNabb-hater. Never. And spnited, Warner is going to be a Hall of Famer. That's a bet. Goes for Mizzou, too.
jps: Inside your own 10, you got to freak it up. Furthest catch you can make is what, their 30. Cards probably had three deep behind the 50. It's kind of academic: zillion trillion to one shot either way.

... which hit Curtis in the hands.

zag and I don't agree on much, but some among the anti-McNabb crowd on this thread are becoming slightly unhinged.

No, that'd be the Lions going to the Super Bowl.

No he shouldn't have caught the ball --- how else would people in Philly be able to blame McNabb.

Again -- if he catches the ball it is a first down and the drive continues.

And this game we are going to watch now is not going to be nearly as good.

The Steelers will win going away and we'll all be subjected to two weeks of Whisenhunt versus his former team and worse, we'll be subjected to the Steelers winning their sixth Super Bowl trophy.

Well, I'm mistaken. You've sold me.

If you believe that, you have no knowledge of NFL-AFL history.

Gosh, I was under the impression I watched one hell of a ball game and was left admiring both teams. Silly me. I should know they both suck. That's what makes sports fun.

The point that this isn't the Baseball HOF we're talking about is very valid.

If Namath and Lynn Swann are in, so is Warner.

    You're showing your ignorance.

mizzou is a hall of famer? for what? I musta missed something.

and, yeah, there's no good option at the end. but I throw it downfield and then go nuts if the catch is made. and you had 9 seconds, right? so there's a chance to get a few on a sideline pass to give you room to move for the final heave.

  11. CAN WE HAVE ONE FUCKING THREAD THAT DOESN'T TURN INTO A PISSING MATCH?!

    Agree whole-heartedly.

Joe Montana - Four Super Bowl games
Tom Brady - Four Super Bowl games
Terry Bradshaw - Four Super Bowl games
Kurt Warner - Three Super Bowl games

How is Kurt Warner NOT a HOF'er? We're not talking about a quarterback who lucked into a Super Bowl or even two. Kurt Warner has proven himself over time as a winner.

And like the other poster said - he is taking ARIZONA to the Super Bowl.
