And, yes, the hit was clean.

Analyst just called it a legal hit, and said there's "no such thing as helmet-to-helmet" when the ballcarrier's downfield, which I'm sure someone will mention to McGahee later on tonight when he wakes up.

You know, for a potential killer, I sure do like me some Ray Lewis.

A slant to a running back into against a zone coverage across the middle?

A WR would no to drop and roll once they caught that pass.

He led with his helmet. Said helmet collided with McGahee's helmet. Thus, helmet to helmet hit! And that was before his shoulder even planted McGahee in the chest.

How is he leading with his shoulder when his helmet strikes McGahee first?

He still led with his head. The shoulder pads happened to contact first just because of the way McGahee was turned.

I know Ryan Clark, and I'm pretty sure he was turning his head to get his shoulder pad in position for the hit. But as someone else said, it's a violent game. And it's not like he has a retractable head he can pull into his body when he's making a tackle like that.

He's pretty damn shaken up too.

    I hope they're both OK.

He led with his helmet. At least according to the angle I saw.

    Trust me. He is.

    Ward is hurt.

  12. I take it back. With the Super Slow Motion that CBS just showed, he led with his shoulder.
