    Did you read the column?

He says Reid should be commended for getting the Eagles to the NFC Championship game after the start they had but says that the team needs a fresh face to reach the next level.

How is that garbage? It's a valid point. 1-4 in NFC Championship Games, 0-1 in Super Bowls in not something to go bragging about.

Actually he is saying Reid should stay as coach but the Eagles should hire a personnel man to over rule him on draft day and in free agency decisions.

And given the Eagles continued lack of legitimate skill position players to go with a franchise quarterback, he has a point.

The Eagles need some more weapons on offense but Reid is one of these ridiculous "West Coast guru's" who really believes his offense and play calling can overcome any lack of talent.

I just called Don Henley, and he says you're wrong.

He doesn't sound nearly as bad as Tyson. Polamalu is just very soft-spoken. He even seemed a little shy during some of his post-game interviews tonight.

Well given that Polamalu is another one of these bible-bangers and self-appointed favorite son of Jesus my question is this -- if he intercepts a pass from Kurt Warner -- does that mean God favors him or does it mean Warner did something to piss off the big man upstairs?

What if he doesn't intercept a pass? What would that mean?

Kurt Warner is the only thing keeping me from becoming a fullblown Cards fan for two weeks.

The interception is meant to keep Warner humble and is, thus, a blessing from God. Meanwhile, Polamaulu should interpret the interception to mean that, while God loves him and wants to be glorified through him, ultimately it is Polamaulu's actions that determine to what extent.

    So sayeth the shepherd....
