    Even the draft does that, though. Of course, the idea is people play for a few years and get free agency.

    Except he is suing to prevent a rookie salary cap, if I remember correctly.

    The attempts to undo elements of previous agreements are going to face an uphill battle.

    Why? Courts have always ruled in players favor.

    That agreement expired last week and without one individual players can seek legal relief.

    They can seek it, but they won't get it on the counts of things they agreed to in the past.

    The new things like a rookie salary cap might get rejected, though. This is the bargaining format right now, and apparently it will be for at least the next month.
