Jets and Santonio Holmes agree to a five-year deal.

    Nah, he's going to Philadelphia...with Arizona's No. 1 pick.

    McNabb gone. Haynesworth gone.

Pretty good way to start a long weekend.

Agreed, but just once, I'd like to see them go after the big-time free agent who could fill a huge need (Nnamdi Asomugha). They never do and they do just fine without it, but when the need is that glaring on a team that lost the Super Bowl, you'd think it would be tempting.

Reggie Bush to the Dolphins, contingent on working out a contract extension with Miami:

Good start but the Skins still have a shitty offensive line and John Beck or Rex Grossman at QB. Putrid.

Well, no shit. The fact remains....Redskins today >>>> Redskins yesterday.

    Gotta crawl before you walk.

For one great player like Asomugha, the Steelers lose 2-3 very good home-grown players in free agency. You just cannot break the bank on multiple players. You have to be selective.

I just don't want to see Asomugha going to the Jets.
