The Eagles choke way too much to be considered one of the NFL's "rich."

Also, who knows if Kolb will pan out, but the Cardinals' QB situation was untenable. Max Hall? John Skelton? They had to get somebody.

Agreed. It's definitely within the realm of possibility Kolb takes them from "god-awful team" to "playoff contender" in the NFC West. To me, that seems like a pretty good trade.

ProFootballTalk reporting it's a "virtual certainty" Vince Young will become an Eagle. Perfect place for him to learn to be a professional.

I was actually perfectly content with Hall or Skelton. The Cards have too many holes to be a contender, so I was fine with tossing away the year to win the Luck Lotto.

Mike Brown is pretty talented like that.

Steelers sign another of their model citizens, Willie Colon, to a five-year deal, taking less than the Bears were offering. I say model citizen sarcastically because he was part of Roethlisberger's entourage on the infamous night in Georgia, something Colon pretty much got a pass for, in part because he got hurt and missed all of 2010.

It will be a boost up front. Colon was arguably the team's best run blocker before he got hurt. Next step is to see if they can re-sign Max Starks at a reduced rate.

That'd be awesome if Starks resigned.
Wonder what they'll do at QB - with four heading into camp?

You already had the second coming in Warner.

Kolb is 3-4 as a starter with more picks than TDs.

It's not losing the corner that hurts as much as this contract just killing your budget if he does not work out as the starter.
