'Retired': The new code for 'Really can't get up for another preseason, call me when you need me.'

It's code for "nobody wants me so I will say I'm retired."

Moss's agent said he's unequivocally done, not the type that will come back.

Moss is reportedly in Mississippi, catching passes from high school quarterbacks preparing for their season.

yeah, don't ya know? randy's all about feelin' the love... when someone shows him enough love, he'll be theirs.

but seriously, while all his enablers are crying about how much they'll miss randy's incomparable skills and thrills, aren't some other folks sort of proud that nfl teams are finally showing the marbles to not suck him dry after his b.s. last year?

Braylon Edwards must be one infected penis if he's getting absolutely no attention so far...I mean, no one wants him??

Top 5 talent, but how much do you count it against him that he just didn't bother to show up so often in his career?

I wouldn't be surprised to see the NFL Hall of Fame voters make him at least wait a year for that very reason.

The Cardinals are talking to him. There's been some speculation that he wants a longer term deal than they're willing to offer at this point.

Yeah, I heard about the Cardinals over the weekend, but I wasn't sure if there was any movement on that front. But other than one team, no one? He had a decent year. He only dropped, what, one ball? He's talented. But so little interest...

Edwards only dropped one ball? Who was keeping track? The official scorer from Wrigley Field during Ryne Sandberg's "errorless streak?"
