Fluke. The way his career ended puts him closer to the company of Tim Couch than McNabb.

He also complete 65 percent of his passes and threw for 3,479 yards and 25 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions in 2003. Culpepper had two outstanding years and one decent one. Sure, a lot of that was having great receivers to throw to, but he wasn't a disaster like Couch, who never really had even one good season in the NFL.

Your comparion might be fair, but that's only because there is a heck of a lot of distance between Tim Couch and Donovan McNabb.

Grossman is making $1.15 million this year as the backup.
Beck is making $1.10 million this year as the presumed starter.
$2.25 million for your top two QBs. RECIPE FOR SUCCESS!!!!

Beck-Grossman-Clemens. I thought that was the worst QB lineup in recent memory. Then, I thought about last year's Panthers. I felt a little -- not a lot, but a tad -- better. While still feeling like the Skins have 4-12 written all over them. At best. YAY!

All this attention on Beck, but Grossman will be the starter week 1. That's Kyle's boy.

At this point, might as well hope for worse than 4-12, right?

I'm not convinced Luck is going to be the next Peyton Manning like the rest of the world seems to think. I think he's going to regress this season.

But yeah, he'd be an immediate upgrade for the Skins. I'll take it.

I agree. I'd love to see Grossman play like he did in the first half of the 2006 season.

Beck was great on the campaign trail. Sucks on the field.

How do you know he sucks on the field? He's started, what, three games? And they were back in 2007 or something? That said, he's probably going to suck.

The Dolphins, still without a QB gave up on him for Chad Henne and noodle-arm Chad Pennington. The Ravens, with Ozzie Newsome as the GM, traded him to the Redskins for crappy CB who was quickly waived and reports out of camp have indicated he isn't accurate, doesn't have a strong arm and isn't mobile.

I'm sorry, somehow you left out Marc Verica. You're telling me the Skins couldn't use 3,700 yards and 30 interceptions?
