This makes 12 years in a row the Eagles are in excellent financial/cap shape and primed to make a run at the championship.

FWIW -- still not convinced they're better than the Packers.

maybe not but the signings that were made improve the Eagles without crippling their future. To criticize them is ridiculous

I'm hearing Portis might end up in Detroit.

Why, does he have family there? This can't be to play football.

    From the story...

"I'm kind of getting everybody together," Roethlisberger told the Post-Gazette today. "I heard it's going to be a neat thing at the stadium. I don't think it will be a big part, it's not like we're chasing Batman down or anyting. It's something neat that in 10 years or 20 years we can tell our kids we were in a movie. Thomas does movies big and I'm sure it will be a big-time movie and something fun to be part of."

First, I'm guessing Mrs. Roethlisberger does not want to wait that long. He might want to get on the same page with her on that.

It might be a little cooler to tell your kids and grandkids that you won the biggest game in America - twice.

Well, he committed rape twice and got away with it.

    Never even charged.

But, you know, you could be on to something because he just kept raping away this past year. All these women kept popping up from all over the country saying they were raped by him. It's not like he settled down and got married.

Did he act like a prick around Pittsburgh? Probably. Doesn't make him a rapist because of two wildcard accusations.

If I'm a doctor and I have two patients say I am terrible doctor and I hurt them, out of the 100s people I would come across, does that make me a crappy doctor?

If the Georgia and Vegas police could have come up with something, then we have a different story. But they didn't.

And I am guessing Vegas police are experts in rape cases.
