    Ohmyfuckinggod.

I'm not even saying he did it -- I won't even argue with you on that. I have no idea. But your reasoning is absolutely, 100 percent absurd. Holy shit.

    I mean, holy shit.

Well, if he wasn't charged, he must be 100 percent innocent.

I'm sure that suspension he received was because of those "wildcard accusations"

No, but it is just as sound as calling him a rapist.

    It looks that way.

Did the NFL have more infomation than the police? If so, they should have turned it over to the police.

He made the Super Bowl again, so I see Big Ben is back in the "can do no wrong" position with Steeler fans. It was really nice to see them with an attack of morals for a couple of months last year, though.

LTL, if you have a high school or college football player in your coverage who was questioned by police in a rape, robbery or anything else, and this player was never charged, just questioned.

Should the team suspend the player?

Remove Ben from this equasion, and see how this looks.

If there's a police report saying what that police report in Georgia said, and if my further investigation revealed the very questionable behavior of the off-duty police and other people who had an obvious interest in protecting the player involved, yes, the team should suspend the player. Beyond that, your assertion that because there was no trial there was no rape, that's a pretty ass-backward and uninformed way of looking at the world. Most of the rest of us understand the legal system doesn't work that way -- particularly in rape cases, which are notoriously difficult to prosecute.

    Steelers rule!

Every man should be allowed a couple rape accusations. Sometimes people around here are such judgmental assholes.

Wow, that was so incredibly pathetic to read. Come on, 93, you should be better than that.

Today is JaMarcus Russell's 26th birthday. I think it is telling that at this young age you don't hear any rumors of any NFL team having even the smallest interest in him.

    Biggest draft bust ever?

Russell should just get married and everything will be forgiven.
