I understand the concept, but I don't think I mess with what Kansas City or Oakland achieves at home with the Sea of Red or The Black Hole.

When does Favre retire? Week 4?

Damn it. Another FG. The Bears could easily be ahead 42-0 right now.

Jason Witten gets called for offensive interference.

Somewhere, Bryon Russell wonders, "Why didn't I play in the NFL?"

For the Southern teams, OK, I understand their reasons. But Kansas City? I'm sorry, that would be like the Steelers with the white jerseys at home. Simply put, there's no excuse.

As for the Jags, even though it is raining, I would like to think they're wearing white for the same reason I would do the same -- to spite the Cowboys, who always want to wear their white tops.

If that were to really happen, folks would riot.

I would be flipping cars with no thought -- in one of my black jerseys, of course.

They voluntarily wore white in the Super Bowl.

A lot of teams do that to the Cowboys. Washington always wears white at home against Dallas, just to make the 'Boys wear blue, which they hate to do. That probably goes back to George Allen, but I wouldn't swear to that.

Despite the Steelers playoff road success, some folks were pretty upset. Here's what Cowher said about it at the time (PPG story):

"I didn't think too much about it. I don't think it's that big of a deal what jersey color you're wearing. Maybe that's just me. They wanted to know whether we were going to wear away jerseys or home jerseys. We're not playing at Heinz Field, so if we're not playing at Heinz Field, to me, that's an away game. I think anyone can understand that rationale. That's what I was thinking. If it's a sensitive issue to people, I'm sorry."
