True, but with a Mike Martz offense, it could take a game or two to get the timing down.

What they really need to do is get Kevin Jones 22-25 carries.

Man... the 49ers Alex Smith has taken that major step forward.

Outing Alert: thebiglead is Terrell Owens.

Must be posting via a Treo while on the sidelines.

I wonder how long till T.O. starts going off on Bledsoe?

Alex Smith is doing it against a weak Arizona secondary ... let's not go overboard.

Inky .. did you see bledsoe? He was wearing cement boots in the pocket. Granted J'Ville has one of the best lines in the league ... but the three picks wont help at all.

    Really?

How did he do against that secondary last year?

    O TD, 3 INT.

Gee, all he did was leave a touchdown (two field goals and an extra point) on the field. Interesting to note, all the kicks were wide right.

Cardinals have a great safety and Rolle is healthy this year.

Nice of PK to inform all of us that Carl Petersen took his call before calling the NFL head of officiating about the Green play.

Tough to get into this Football Night In America. I loved Primetime and this seems like a lame imitation. Costas is good and Collingsworth is a guy I've always liked for his candour. Sharpe is the same yeller he was on Countdown and all Bettis brings is a nickname the other guys have beaten to death already.

Oh yeah, and NBC should spring for a desk for these guys.

Agree whole-heartedly. I love these things. Nothing else quite like it.

Good comeback by the 49ers, getting the field goal and onside kick before taking two shots in the end zone before time ran out. It's not a win, but San Fran fans must feel good because that actually looks like progress.

    As for Dallas ...

... Methinks someone spoke too soon about that offensive "machine."

    Road teams 8-5 thus far.

I saw exactly the Bledsoe I was expecting to see. Everybody talking about Dallas going to the Super Bowl must not be looking at the QB position. Neither Bledsoe or Romo are capable of getting a team there.
