Ain't that difficult... put two people on Tiki Barber.

    I hate dumbass defensive coordinators.

By the way, a buddy of mine in the press box in Jax said T.O. was very contrite in his post-game. Talked for about 10 minutes, and spouted every teamwork cliche known to man. Refused to bite when asked why Bledsoe seemingly forgot he was on the field from the late second quarter to the mid-fourth quarter. Talked about going back to work and this one loss isn't going to hurt "our team," and Drew is a good QB and he didn't throw to him because he was going through his "reads and progressions," and "I wasn't open all the time," etc, etc.

Sounds like T.O. is trying. But if Bledsoe doesn't throw his way for almost three quarters again, there might be hell to pay.

As well there should be. I'm sorry, but Bledsoe sucks.

Madden: " ... how am I supposed to get my mouth around that."

What was he talking about because my back is to the TV and I'm just listening.

Haven't seen this point made, but it sounds like many of you are downgrading Bush's day by saying it was against the Browns. ... And I'm not a Browns fan, but that defense is good. Washington plugs up the middle and McGinest and Wimbley are tough. I wouldn't say Bush's day gets an asterisk because of the opponent, because Cleveland's defense will be a good one this year, save the secondary.

Also, it's going to be a long year for Pack fans, a group of which I am one. Did you see the highlights? That second interception was vintage modern-day Favre. Fuck.

I forget which thread this was on, but I've been saying since last offseason to anyone who'll listen that he needs to go. This is obviously going to be a painful year, so why not let Rodgers play, and see what you have?

Fuck I'm getting all riled up.

Also, good job of the Giants hanging around here. ... The Archie shots have to go though, he looks like he wants to be anywhere else but there.

    Are you drunk?

Watch one defensive series and count the missed tackles. Just one. One. You'll get into the double digits. Easily.

    Horrible.

    Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

I'm just happy to be here and hope I can help the ball club. I'm going to give it my best shot and the good Lord willing, everything will work out. A good friend of mine used to say this is a very simple game. You throw me the damn ball. I catch the damn ball. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes it rains.

OK let's have a cross-sport pool: Whose transparent "team first" bullshit act will fade first?

T.O.? Or D-Rays bat-wielding phenom Delmon Young who is spouting all sorts of team-first crap during his first trip thru the bigs.
