Pretty quality punt by Minnesota right there. To say the Vikings quarterback is struggling is an understatement. I have no idea how the Vikings are winning, though that might change after that penalty.

Great job Chris Canty! Touchdown Dallas. First blocked FG return in 24 years! 21-14 Cowboys.

This probably could be a thread by itself but let me ask ---

What in the hell has happened to quarterbacks in the NFL? Where are the good quarterbacks hiding? This position is as horrible as I can ever remember. My goodness, is this a by-product of college football moving away from conventional pro-style offenses and towards the spread?

Think about this -- today we had Cleo Lemon, Tavarias Jackson, Sage Rosenthals, Kerry Collins, Trent Edwards, Jason Campbell, a 91-year old Kurt Warner, Alex Smith, Kyle Boller, Byron Leftwich, David Garrard, Chad Pennington, Brian Griese, Damon Huard and Jay Cutler......

That is a lineup of stiffs if I have ever read one...yet these are the best out there? These guys are starting quarterbacks in the best league in the world?

No wonder the NFL sucks these days

Romo is 29/33 through three quarters. Good day at the office.

To be fair, Alex Smith didn't play. Trent Dilfer did. I'd say that negates your whole argument. ;)

Less impressive when you remember he was 28-32 in the first half.

Romo is one of the few good quarterbacks in this league.

I mean, seriously, go through the list -- you have Manning, Brady, Favre, Roethlisburger, Palmer, Romo, Brees, McNabb. You want to throw in Jeff Garcia and Kitna, I might buy those two but after that? Perhaps Philip Rivers and Eli Manning, though I'm not really sold one either yet and perhaps Vince Young can become one (though he has a long way to go).

    The rest suck.

Yeah, good point. I'm not watching the game. Just looked at the game chart.

Oh I am sorry, that's even worse -- Trent Dilfer! My goodness.........

I know -- he won a Super Bowl and Dan Marino and Dan Fouts didn't......
