    A hockey-jack on a NFL thread.

    Blasphemy.

Oh.....and the Faith Hill thing is the stupidest damn thing that has ever infected my television.

    Thanks, HB. Much better.

Chef, would you have preferred a cat-jack? Hockey is never blasphemous.

But I agree with you about Faith Hill, and I like her music as a rule.

Perhaps this is posted elsewhere, but did anyone catch Belichick's post-game? Someone asked him about running up the score, and he had a pretty damn good answer, essentially saying he's seen TB come back against Indy and all sorts of other instances.

He's no less of a prick, but I'm sick, like folks talked about earlier in the thread, about people bitching about running it up. If the Dolphins want to keep it close, they should stop somebody.

The transcript of the Homewrecking Hoodie's postgame presser:

    10/21/07
Bill Belichick Press Conference - 10/21/2007 New England Patriots

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick addresses the media during his postgame press conference following the Patriots game against the Miami Dolphins at Dolphin Stadium on October 21, 2007.

    (Opening Statement)
"Good win today. I thought our team played well offensively. We moved the ball well, and we scored a lot of points. That's something we haven't really done much down here. It's good to feel that and experience it. Things tightened up there at little bit at the end, but we had a nice drive there, and we needed that. We didn't tackle that well all day, especially in the second half. But overall, when you score those kinds of points, you have a chance. The guys did a really good job out there."

(On the two touchdown receptions by Randy Moss)
"I was pretty far away from both of them, so you all probably saw them better than I did. But he's got great ball skills - not just the long ball, he does well with all of them. We've definitely seen him do it before."

(On Willie Andrews' 77-yard kickoff return)
"It looked like they kicked it away from him, away from the way we had the return set. I didn't get a great look at it, just saw a lot of bodies flying around. Willie did a good job, though. He showed up."

(On why he put Tom Brady back into the game in the fourth quarter)
"I did it because of the score. We were just trying to win the game, that's all. We're just trying to win the game."

(On how the score was 42-21 when he decided to put Tom Brady back into the game)
"Yeah, one more turnover, and then it's a 14-point game in the middle of the fourth quarter. Yeah, I was at the game."

(On having a 42-7 halftime lead)
"Look, we've all seen games, I mean [like] the Tampa Bay-Indianapolis game a couple of years ago - 21 points in about four minutes, or whatever it was. So don't tell me about leads in this league. Until the final gun goes off, it's not a win."

(On if he has ever seen Tom Brady play as well as he did in the first half today)
"Tom has played pretty good football for us. He played well today, he played well today."

And Denver gets the ball after the half.

I think Pittsburgh is having pretty good success running, especially on the edges, but they are just so in love with the pass tonight.

Arians is calling a terrible game, but I'm not putting the blame there. The Steelers are laying an egg for the second time this season. They played like crap against the Cardinals, too.

It's not just the play calling or just Roethlisberger. The line has been terrible. Hines Ward dropped two balls he usually catches. And the defense isn't playing nearly as well as it had the first give games.

    Total team failure.
