Rodman is going to moderate the talks.

That Atlantic article from a couple years ago said the only real path with North Korea was diplomacy and negotiations.

Someone on Twitter said that Michael Jordan doesn't look so hot now that Kobe has an Oscar and Rodman is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Nixon going to China in 1972 was something no Democrat could have done.

I really enjoyed the inital post on the meeting, good job. I admit that I have become very cynical but I assume that Trump did this on his own as a "yuge" diversion away from the seemingly constant drip, drip of negative stories. Now if good comes from this I don't really care about his motivation. I will say that I "trust" Little Rocket Man to stay more focused and be more prepared than Trump and that I even feel this way is shitty.

I don't need compliments, I need likes. Help a fella out.

And then please like this post, too. I'm told that voters look at both counting and rate stats. TIA.

If Trump makes it easier for NK to get nukes, placates a state-affiliated terrorist organization and sets the stage for hundreds of thousands of deaths in the process, then it will be exactly the same.

I can't see Trump being in the same room as Kim without saying something exceedingly stupid. Maybe inflammatory.

That's how the war will start, the two of them arguing about who shot the 18 for 18 and who had the 19.

If Trump does not weasel out of it, Kim is going to steal his leg. We've got no SK ambassador. Our best Korea expert just retired. The state department is in general weak and understaffed. Trump has no grip on the issues whatsoever and he's impulsive and easily baited into anger. The Norks will have a battery of guys who have been negotiating with us for twenty to thirty years, and Trump has maybe sixty days to get briefed in - if he bothers, and if he retains anything he was told, and if he does not decide he knows more than the "experts".

NK has won the moment both sides sit at the table unless large concessions are made by NK before the thing starts.
