Then a lot of Obama's wins don't count. But he'll carry every state she would, other than perhaps Arkansas, and he puts states into play in which she wouldn't have a prayer. California ain't going red, my friend. Neither is New York, New Jersey or Massachusetts. But Obama could and likely would turn Virginia, Missouri, Iowa and Colorado blue. Hell, he's likely to force an electoral split out of Nebraska, for God's sake. And he's much better for down-ticket races, which are almost as important as the Presidency.

  2. The last point is the only one I consider significant. All four of the states you mentioned have been steadily purpling over the past decade -- and I don't think Obama has a snowball's chance in Virginia. (I have no faith is the tolerance of my fellow citizens there at all.). McCaskill's win one cycle after Carnahan is proof enough for me in Missouri, and Mo Udall's kid is going to romp into the Senate in Colorado. HRC is no visible drag on the ticket in any one of those.

I prefer to rely on the opinions of red and purple Dems who have endorsed Obama by the truckload. Perhaps they know a bit more about the demographics of their states than you or me.

If the DNC tries to do anything other than not seat the delegates or go with a 50-50 split Obama needs to sue the shit out of the party and Howard Dean because the fix will clearly be in.

Love how the DNC hack who sent that letter tried to imply Iowa and New Hampshire also broke violated DNC rules by moving their primaries up. You fuckwit, they moved them up because state law required them to when your fucked up state decided to ignore DNC rules.

Florida and Michigan have no one to blame but themselvs. The state parties disenfranchised themselves.

I also think it's funny that she mentioned how glad she is they're going to paper ballots.

Funny, I seem to recall the Florida Dems screaming for electronic balloting after they failed to fix the election for Gore a few years ago...

Bubbler and I both will be exposed to some Hillmentum this week when she visits our cities.

I think I speak for Bubbler when I say this is going to be the biggest thing to hit his rank-ass city since the Denny's opened.

    A. I'm the biggest thing to hit my city since Denny's.
    B. It's the biggest thing to hit my city since Ryan's Steakhouse. Let's be accurate please.

Hillary in your hometown? It's the highlight of her campaign! Free Drummond Brothers for everyone!

Chuck Todd's been good since before joining NBC. He was an editor at The Hotline, where he did regular drop-ins on C-SPAN's Washington Journal program. If anything, his credibility goes down as his "popularity" with the MSNBC hacks increases.

Chuck Todd is very good. Two others that have also caught my attention are Rachel Maddow and Kirsten Powers. It's nice to see some fresh faces instead of the "same old same old". He is not new but Craig Crawford is very good also.

  10. Sorry, boom.
Craig's got to learn not to laugh at his own jokes, which are not funny. Drives me crazy.

Crawford annoys me at times, but I can't think of another "pundit" who plays it more down the middle. David Gergen is the best "insider."

Here's a question though, when these news outfits are touting themselves "the most trusted, powerful, political team in the business" What is their source? If we're looking for accurate information and not spin, shouldn't it begin with how these cable nets label themselves?
