Wasn't there a hell of a snowstorm up there, either today or yesterday?

  2. Last night and this morning.
It blew through pretty fast, though.

    Here's a sample:

That's an ungodly number for Cape Elizabeth.
Keep refreshing that page and there's more porn for zeke.

There was and the lines in Portland to get into the caucuses were still three blocks long.

The most heartening thing in this campaign is that people are not sitting on the side and just complaining, they are getting out and voting in huge numbers

I'm assuming the only hold up on calling this is waiting for the 7 p.m. Eastern caucuses to close their doors, right?

My father lived in Cape Elizabeth as a youngster years ago before it became the ritzy locale that it is now. An absolutely beautiful place, as is Portland. Good to see the high turnouts there.

Fenian, thanks for the info. I was baiting you just a little, but I also really wanted to know. Most of what I've heard about Obama and HRC relate to what they're going to do to this country. I think Obama being a virtual newcomer on the national scene probably plays in his favor. Hillary has had lots of time to get something done, but she hasn't succeeded.

What I like about Obama most of all is that he seems to be sincere in his promise to work across the aisles. At the same time, he knows enough to hold his ground on such matters as the Iraq War. His stance on the war is what I love about him. His position was a very unpopular one at the time. But I knew what was up, and he knew what was up. How is it that Hillary and lots of other folks on both sides of the aisle didn't read between the lines? Either he has much more foresight that HRC, or she just has a completely different idea of how to make this country great again. In respect to her stance on the war, I guess her defense is either stupidity or making a poor decision that put lots of 20-year-old men and women in harm's way.

  11. If there ever was a perfect summary of what Obama's trying to achieve, you're it.

Are you saying he's the one he's been waiting for, Fenian? :D
