    For Feb. 19 CNN has:
    Hawaii primaries
    Wisconsin primaries
    Washington primaries

    Is there any reason why Washington runs a primary after the caucus?

    Takes some digging around, but if you go the election center and check the calendar, click on Feb. 19 and it lists those three.

    I found it already. Which gets us back to your original question. Why have this if its little more than a beauty contest with nothing at stake?

    There is a GOP Washington state PRIMARY on the 19th

    D. C. Dem primary is, of course, 2/12

    Yes, but the caucuses are what matter, 10 days earlier. Or am I getting that wrong? The list I've seen on CNN and above lists the delegates being doled out on the 9th.

    The precinct caucuses in Wash state . . . yes. Confirmed.
