  1. Yes. how dare someone campaign?
    What is this, Soviet Rooosha?
    "Presumably"?
    Give me a break.
If electing Obama means we all have to be Ted Olson for the next nine months, wake me for the general election.

  2. And I'm sure you were similarly bugged by the reportage in that 6000-word valentine to Obama that Andy Sullivan penned for The Atlantic from his counch.

Well, the Sullivan piece hardly compares in that it was an essay, from a magazine, and was more about, well, Andrew Sullivan than it was anything else.

Yeah, that seems like a reasonable reaction. I'll be going over here now.

  5. But, before you go, check this out.

I am loving the Huckster, though I was, sadly, unable to get "Huckmentum!" anywhere in the paper on Sunday.

Keep on keeping on, Miracle Mike!

I love that Hillary has now eschewed the surrogates, and is directly bitching about caucuses.

Them's the rules, Hillary. Obama didn't make them.

Who has been in charge of the Democratic party for what seems like my entire lifetime, anyway?

    Weird.

  10. Oh, Jesus, please.
Pointing out that her husband won -- twice -- without winning any of these caucuses is not "bitching" (nice word, that) about the caucuses. It's claiming that they're less significant historically than they're being made out to be.
Really, you're all starting to sound like Republicans in 1993.

Her camp has been whining since Super Tuesday how it represents a disenfranchisement of voters. I saw her comments today. That's not all she said, Fenian.

  12. That's what you say when you lose caucuses and win primaries. Reverse the situation and I assure you that the Obama people are saying exactly the same thing. Again, Doc, this is the Clinton Rules again.
    Caucuses suck, period.
Anyone who wins them thinks they're the greatest thing since Pericles.
Anyone who loses them thinks they're fascist.
    Caucuses suck, period.

Meanwhile, here's some local stuff on the Fuck da Huck effort in Washington state.
