. . . The Base remaining steadfastly oblivious to the fact that Obama would likely keelhaul the likes of Romney to a 57-43 tune in November.

Some folks really need to get out, more.

That's what the pancake supper at the Rotary Club is for. Caucuses may be a nice way for folks to get together but they blow as a way to choose candidates.

Looks like it's do or die for Clinton in Ohio and Texas

Clinton will take Texas thanks to the Latino vote. She can make it to Pennsylvania as long as she runs strong (i.e. doesn't get totally waxed by Obama) in Ohio. Like I said ... best-of-three states wins the nomination.

    . . . and she'll probably "do" . . . but the question is -- to what degree?

If this is true, are Dem voters making the same mistake they made in 2004?

John Edwards and even Howard Dean might have been better equipped to deal with Bush/Cheney/Rove, but instead the Dems quickly jumped on the Kerry bandwagon and didn't realize that he was no match for the Rove machine until it was too late.

Like Kerry in '04, Obama appears to be the Dems' hot choice this time. But is he the right one to get back the White House?

Shaheen is popular in NH, so this one has been in the bag for the Dems for a while. It was, really, one of the first projected Senate pickups in the countdown to Joe Lieberman's irrelevance.

Dems voters are going for Obama, Hillary's campaign strategist is trying to put the spin on that she's more ready to face McCain than Obama is.

Every polling story I have read has Obama with a lead in a general election against McCain and Clinton in a tie. What her people are saying isn't true, at least if you are looking at numbers and not ability to sling mud.

She polarizes... and will drive some voters who might vote Democratic to vote for McCain. Obama doesn't have that effect.
