    CNN now has McCain up by a few hundred votes in Virginia. Could be interesting.

    But the social issues mean a lot to a pretty large chunk of the Republicans' base. And if that part of the base stays home on Election Day, McCain is S.O.L.

    Wow. CNN said none of the major news services conducted exit polls. I wonder what NBC has that CNN doesn't.

    Obama is/was expected to do well in all three jurisdictions today. I'm not sure Clinton even campaigned inside the city.

    McCain starting to pull away in Virginia. Almost have the precincts are in, and he's up almost 6,000 votes now.

    I'm pretty sure NBC said there weren't exit polls for D.C., too.

    They could have called D. C. for Obama with utter confidence with no data backup,
    whatsoever.
